How to read our labels.

Civic and public-service information may change. Verify deadlines, eligibility, and procedures with authoritative sources.

What Atlas Engine is

Atlas Engine is the backend discovery and routing layer that surfaces civic resources, deadlines, meetings, and official sources to Groundwork. The Atlas API connector is currently scaffolded, not live: Groundwork shows real records from our own jurisdiction tables and a small set of clearly-labeled Atlas demo / sample records.

Source status

  • Source found — a source URL is recorded.
  • Source reviewed — a human reviewer has checked it.
  • Verified — confirmed against the official source.
  • Source needed — no source yet; suggest one.
  • Outdated / conflicting — flagged for re-review.
  • Demo / sample — seeded for layout; not real data.

Trust status

  • Official source — only set when the source is an official government or institutional source.
  • Reviewed — reviewed by a person.
  • Needs review — not yet checked.
  • User submitted — community contribution awaiting review.
  • Demo — seeded sample.

Civic data caveat

Civic and public-service information may change. Always confirm deadlines, eligibility, and procedures with the authoritative source before acting. Groundwork does not claim real-time data unless a live Atlas connector is verified.
